As a host, you may like to charge differently for lets say weekends or particular day of the week. You may also want to offer discounts to guests who rent for longer. You can do this by something we call as Differential pricing.

You can do this by going to "Your listings" from the homepage by clicking on your profile icon.

Then on your listing, select "Edit listing"

On your listing, select "Pricing" and this will take you to the new pricing section.

Now you can set pricing for your car at three different levels:

  1. Regular days - This is the price that you wish to charge on an ongoing basis. E.g you can choose to price all weekdays as regular days

  2. Peak days* - These are special days when you want to charge differently. Let’s say weekends or a particular day of the week you may want to have a different price. (Feb'22 update - max 2 days per week allowed as peak days)

  3. Public Holiday** - Peak pricing will be applied automatically to all Public Holidays, by simply turning on the "Peak Pricing on Public Holidays" flag on. This can be found in the pricing page when you edit your listing. Presently, we have set this flag as on for all hosts who have a peak price set.

  4. Discounts for longer rentals - You can now set weekly discounts thereby making your car more attractive for these kinds of rentals.

Watch this video to know more about how to navigate this pricing section.

*Please note, peak day pricing applies depending on which day is more represented in the booking period. For example if a booking is made from Sunday (peak day) 1pm - Monday (regular day) 1pm, then regular pricing will be charged for this booking as Monday (regular day) is more represented in this booking.
