Pick-up and Drop-off Process: Physical Handover

If your trip involves a physical handover (meeting the host in person), it’s essential to follow the steps below carefully to ensure your trip is insured and protected.

Important: Complete the Pick-up Process to Stay Insured

You must upload the required pick-up photos and request the pick-up before starting your trip.If this step isn’t completed, any damage or issue during your trip will automatically be attributed to you, and you will be uninsured.

What You Need to Upload for Pick-up

To initiate your pick-up process as a guest, please provide all of the following photos through your trip dashboard:

  1. Selfie with your driving licence

  2. Ensure your face and all details on the licence are clearly visible.

  3. Photo of you with the car

  4. Stand in front of the car so the vehicle and number plate are visible.

  5. Exterior photos of the car

  6. Capture all sides — front, back, and both sides — to document the car’s condition.

  7. Interior photos

  8. Include the seats, dashboard, and overall cleanliness.

  9. Odometer reading

  10. Take a clear photo of the odometer and enter the current reading in the app.

  11. Fuel gauge reading

  12. Take a photo of the fuel gauge and record the current level.

Drop-off Process

- At the end of your trip, you’ll follow a similar process to record the car’s return condition.

- Take clear drop-off photos and confirm the odometer and fuel readings again.Need More Help?

Note:

- If you face any difficulty completing the process through the app or website, please send all the required photos directly to support@drivelah.sg.

- Make sure to include your booking period in the email.

- If you have limited network access, please save the photos to your gallery and send them to us before you start driving the car.
