These rules apply only to privately owned vehicles insured under Tokio Marine, and do not apply to NTUC-insured or commercially insured ones.
Guest requirements when booking HPV cars:
To book a Tokio Marine-insured HPV car, the guest must meet ALL of the following requirements:
Guest must be between 30 and 65 years old.
Confirm at least 5 years of driving experience within Singapore.
Verify at least 20% No Claim Discount (NCD), or confirm 2 years of practical driving experience. Acceptable evidence includes being a named driver on another insurance policy, holding a military driving license, or having owned a vehicle previously.
No accidents or insurance claims in the past 3 years.
Vehicle make and model is on the approved list of Tokio Marine for HPV bookings. This approval is critical for access to HPV vehicles.
Final booking approval pending Tokio Marine Insurance Singapore (TMiS) vetting.
