Our Terms of Service state, "You agree to comply with any and all applicable laws and regulations, including registration and minimum insurance requirements for your car."

As a general matter, it is required that you demonstrate "financial responsibility" in order to register your car. That is usually accomplished through insurance. The insurance provided through the Drive lah marketplace may not be used satisfy that requirement.

All private hosts may list vehicles insured by any insurance provider, as long as they meet other legal requirements and their insurance provider has not prohibited them from booking out their car(s) on a person-to-person car sharing platform.

Please do note that the existing insurance policy of the private hosts will not be invoked during the rental period. They will be covered by the Drive lah protection plan.
