Booking Acceptance Rate (BAR)

For a great customer experience it is important that guests can trust that cars that show up in their search on a specific date can be booked. For that reason we encourage hosts to accept bookings requests by giving hosts with a high BAR preference in our search algorithm, i.e. cars of hosts with a high BAR can be found higher up in the search. Moreover, to achieve Superhost status a high BAR is required.

As a result, hosts that decline bookings see their BAR go down and chances of becoming a superhost will be impacted. However, there may be valid reasons for a decline, such as having had a dispute with the same guest previously. In such cases please reach out to our customer support team and we will rectify your BAR at our end.
