Why should I activate delivery?
By activating delivery, you offer your guests extra convenience and hence attract higher demand for your car. Basis our findings, more than 75% of the guests are interested in getting the car delivered and picked up.
How does delivery work?
You can set your car as available for delivery when you create your listing or add delivery at any time. You will be paid 80% of the delivery fee that the guest pays (= $16) which covers the cost of vehicle drop off and pick up. Note that the max delivery radius is 6 km which translates to approx. 10 km road distance) (i.e. this feature will only be applicable if:
a) Your car location and guest location is within 6 km aerial distance (which translates to approx. 10 km road distance)
b) The guest chooses delivery as an option while checkout
c) Both the pick up and drop off time are between 9 am and 9 pm.
While the car is being delivered and picked up, your own insurance would apply. Drive lah protection will kick in once the rental starts by the guest.
The following criteria and restrictions apply to delivery on Drive lah:
Delivery feature is applicable within a 6 km radius only (which translates to approx. 10 km road distance).
You may not charge guests for the cost of fuel to deliver a vehicle.
The pick up and drop off time are between 9 am and 9 pm.
You may not ask your guest for a ride home from a delivery location.
You may not arrange for or accept payment for delivery outside of Drive lah. Doing so violates our Grey market transactions policy and Terms of Service.
How do I set delivery?
1) To enable delivery at popular places near your car’s location, log onto Drive lah,
https://www.drivelah.sg/listings. Click "Edit listing" on your car.
2) Choose "Easy Access". Refer to image below
3) Toggle delivery to switch it on. Refer to image below
select your vehicle, and tap “Easy access” from the menu. Click enable delivery to activate this feature.
Once this feature is activated, guests can choose to get the car delivered to them. Do note that the delivery & pick up address will be sent to you by Drive lah prior to the trip.
Can I change my delivery locations?
At the moment, the delivery & pick up location is fixed at guest's address.
Can my guest change their delivery location?
No. The delivery & pick up location is fixed at guest's address.
