Yes absolutely. Drive lah Protection is applicable for your car the same way in Malaysia as it is in Singapore. That means, hosts enjoy the same level of protection when the car is allowed for driving to Malaysia by the host.
The choice of allowing travel to Malaysia is that of the host completely and they can control it via the Key rules section under their listing. Of course, cars enabled for Malaysia travel can expect to receive higher demand.

Drive lah provides comprehensive insurance for cars shared on the platform for the exact period of the rental (if your car is less than or equal to 12 years):
•Death or injury to third party(unlimited)
•Damage to third party property(up to S$5,000,000)
•Loss or damage to your vehicle from accident causes (up to market value at the time of loss or damage)
•Loss of damage by fire or theft (up to market value at the time of loss or damage)
•Personal accident benefits (up toS$50,000)
•Medical expenses (up toS$1,000)
•Towing services (up to S$500) and windscreen cover
For cars aged above 12 years, third party only insurance is offered:

Please note that the Drive lah protection is available only to rentals done on cars of private hosts. For commercial host's cars, the insurance is provided by the host themselves and not by Drive lah.
