Can I add a driver to my booking?
This policy outlines the requirements and process for adding an additional driver to your Drive lah booking.
Eligibility & verification
You may share driving with another person only if their profile has been successfully verified on Drive lah.
The additional driver must sign up and complete verification process.
Drivers who are not verified are NOT permitted to drive the booked car. The main driver must receive written confirmation from Drive lah before the trip begins for the additional driver to be approved and covered.
Responsibility
The main guest who booked the car remains fully responsible for the booking, including any excess payable in the event of damage or an at-fault accident, regardless of who was driving at the time.
Fees
An additional driver fee of SGD $10 per day applies for each approved driver.
When can you add an additional driver?
Additional drivers must be added before the trip starts. Adding a driver during or after the trip is not allowed.
How to add an additional driver?

Driving Licence details
Residency permit (NRIC or FIN)
All details must be submitted and approved to ensure the additional driver is covered.
Highlights:
Allowing an unverified driver to drive the car breaches our Terms of Service, voids all insurance coverage, and may result in additional fees.
Only approved and verified drivers are permitted to drive the car.
The main driver must obtain written confirmation from Drive lah and pay SGD $10 per day for the additional driver service before allowing a second driver.
Unauthorized drivers will not be covered under any protection plans.
All requests are subject to approval and must meet eligibility requirements.
