All Drive lah trips include Basic Protection by default. However, guests can upgrade their coverage by selecting one of the following optional add-ons:

  • Premium Protection Plan

  • Maximum Protection Plan

These plans reduce or eliminate personal liability in the event of an incident during the trip.

1. Basic Protection (Comprehensive Insurance)
Included with every trip at no extra cost.

  • Standard excess: $3,000 (excluding GST)

  • Coverage applies to trips within Singapore and Malaysia

  • Covers Section I & II of the insurance policy (accident and damage)

2. Premium Protection Plan
For $8/day, guests can reduce their excess liability based on their driver profile and vehicle type.Excess amounts under Premium Protection:

  • Non-young drivers, regular cars: $4,320

  • Young drivers, regular cars: $5,760

  • Non-young drivers, premium cars: $6,480

  • Young drivers, premium cars: $7,920

Definitions:
Regular cars: Vehicles with a standard rental rate of $100/day or more
Young drivers: Guests aged 21 to under 24 years old

3. Maximum Protection Plan
For $20/day, this plan eliminates your excess entirely, offering the highest level of protection and peace of mind.

  • Zero personal liability—regardless of incident type or location

Important Notes

  • Once a protection plan is applied to a trip, it cannot be changed, reverted, or removed.

  • Protection plan fees follow the standard cancellation policy.

  • For example, if you cancel on the day of pickup, the booking and protection add-ons are non-refundable.
