Drive lah doesn't charge any security deposit for any trips taken. In specific cases, there is a $250 pre-authorization (no charge) taken on the credit/ debit card of the guest. This pre-authorization is applicable only for the following cases:

a) A new guest with less than 3 trips. Once the new guest complete 3 trips successfully without any issues, there will be no pre-authorization required for any further trips.

b) If a guest has been involved in a dispute/ accident, then future trips would require a pre-authorization of the $250.

Once the trip is over, the pre-authorization is released after 24 hours. It may take up to 5-7 days for the pre-authorization reversal to reflect in your account depending upon your card.
