Drive lah Home Delivery allows you to have a rental car delivered to your chosen location and picked up again when your trip ends. It’s a convenient way to begin and end your journey without going to the car’s original location.
How to Book Home Delivery
- Open the Drive lah app or website.
- Enter your pickup location and trip dates.
- Apply the “Home Delivery” filter to view eligible cars.
- At checkout, select “Delivery” and confirm your booking.
Cost:
- A flat $20 delivery fee will be added to your trip. This covers both drop-off and pickup of the car.
- If your trip is cancelled by the host or Drive lah, the delivery fee will be refunded automatically.
Delivery Rules & Time Window
- Delivery radius: Up to 6 km aerial distance (~10 km road distance) from the host.
- Available delivery hours: 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM only.
- All payments must be made via Drive lah. Direct payments to hosts are not allowed and violate our Grey Market Policy.
Responsibilities
Hosts Must:
- Ensure the car is delivered at the scheduled start time of the trip.
- Verify guest identity by checking the Driver’s License (must match booking details).
- Follow our pick-up and drop-off policy
- Retrieve the car at the trip’s end.
- Ensure the vehicle is clean, safe, fueled, and fully functional before delivery.
Guests Must:
- Be present at the delivery location on time.
- Present a valid Driver’s License at handover.
- Upload the required car photos (interior, exterior, fuel gauge, odometer) to the Trip page before pickup.
- Ensure the vehicle is clean, in good condition, fueled, and fully functional upon return.
Penalties & Issues
- Issues and Penalties:
- Host is a no-show -$40
- Host is 30 min late - $20
- Host is 60+ min late - $40 (max)
- Guest is absent at pickup -Trip marked as no-show (non-refundable)
- Guest is absent at return - Late return fee applies
