What is Premium & Maximum Protection?

Explore how you can reduce your maximum liability in case of any accident/ damage

When you book a trip, it by default comes with Basic Protection. Under Basic Protection, a guest's maximum personal liability is $6420 ($3000 for section I and $3000 for section II. Both plus GST) in case of any accident/ damage. However, guests have two options to reduce this personal liability

  1. Maximum Protection Plan - Personal liability reduced from $3000 per section to ZERO. Potential savings of $6420. Add-on cost is $20/day.

  2. Premium Protection Plan - Personal liability reduced (Section I & II each).

    1. When guests choose Premium protection, liability reduction is now based on:

      • Non-young drivers with regular cars: $4320.

      • Young drivers with regular cars: $5760.

      • Young drivers with premium cars: $7920.

      • Non-young drivers with premium cars: $6480.

Regular cars - Cars with regular price greater than equal to $100/day

Young drivers - Age 22y/o to 24 y/o

These plans can be selected while booking the trip or just before the trip starts from the trip page.

Q1. How much does it cost to get Maximum Protection?

A. For just $20 per trip day or part thereof, you get ultimate peace of mind and reduce your personal liability to ZERO in case of any accident/ damage.

Q2. How much does it cost to get Premium Protection?

A. For just $8 per trip day or part thereof, you get additional peace of mind and reduce your personal liability from $3000 to $1000 (Section I & II each) in case of any accident/ damage.

Q3. How can I get these additional protection options for my trip?

A. Once you have selected the car you want, you can choose Maximum/ Premium Protection from the add-on page.

Q4. Can I buy these additional protection options after my booking is accepted?

A. Yes. You have the choice of buying these options any time before your trip starts. It won't be available once the trip starts.
