If you’ve left personal belongings in your rental car, here’s what you need to do based on your role as a Guest or Host.

For Guests:

What to Do If You Left Something Behind

Contact your host directly through the Drive lah app or website.

Ask the host if your item is still in the vehicle and arrange a time to retrieve it.

Tip: It’s always a good idea to double-check your belongings before finishing your trip!

What If You Can’t Reach Your Host?

If you can’t get in touch with your host, please contact Drive lah Support. We will help facilitate communication, though we cannot guarantee item recovery.

For Hosts:

What to Avoid Leaving in the Car

To prevent misunderstandings or losses, we recommend avoiding leaving easily removable items in your car, such as:

Charging cables

Cashcards, coins, and small cash

USB drives, clips, toys, or personal effects

What If a Guest Leaves Items Behind?

If a guest contacts you about leaving something behind:

Confirm whether the item is in the car.

Arrange to return the item promptly, or provide clear instructions on where to collect it.

Drive lah’s Responsibility

Drive lah is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings left in the vehicle. We recommend both guests and hosts take extra care in checking for personal items before and after each trip.

Final Reminder: Double-Check Your Belongings

To avoid any issues, always double-check your items before leaving the car, and remind guests to do the same!
